Gymnastics for Fun!
Here at Oatley Gymnastics we are all about fun while learning Gymnastics. Our program is for children from when they can walk to 17 years old. Our Kinder themed program is for under school age, while our Rec program is for those at school. We are getting ready for 2024, and hope you can join us.
As a Not for Profit we do our best to keep our fees accessable to all. We are proudly a Gymnastics Australia accredited club which means all our coaches hold national qualifications, working with children checks and have completed Child safety training. Every class has at least one First Aid trained coach. Professional Development and skills updates are undertaken by coaches throughout the year.
What we are about
We are an incorporated association that first started operating in 1957 as a boys fitness (Physical Training) class run by local Jack Fisher. Activities grew to include Ballroom dancing, swimming, basketball, soccer, netball, physial culture, as well as many types of gymnastics. Since 2018 we have focussed on Gymnastics.
Gymnastics has been a mainstay in the club with thousands of local children having done gymnastics at Oatley. We have had Mens and Womens Artistic programs, Aerobic Gymnastics, Tumbling, Trampolining and Kindergym. We have always had a strong Recreatioanl program focussed on fundamental gymnastics for fun and fitness. Today we offer a Recreational program for school aged children, along with Kinder Play, Kindger Gym and Kinder Rec for 0-5 year olds.

RSL Sub Branch
We are a part of Oatley RSL Sub Branch. The Sub Branch is a local branch of NSWL RSL which exists to provide services and support to current and past members of the Australian Defence Forces. Oatley Branch meets monthly on the second Tuesday at the Oatley RSL & Community Club located in Letitia Street.
When becoming a member of the Youth Club families are asked to particpate in the local Anzac service which is held on the Sunday before Anzac day each year, at Oatley Memorial park. By coming we show our respect to those that have fought or served in the Australian Defence force.

Community
As a community organisation we like to stay connected. We are here to serve the community and to provide a great experience for your family while your little ones learn gymnastics.
We have been grateful to recieve grants from the Federal and State Governments for equpment, safety supplies, training and most recently a defibrulator for our facility.
Management Commitee
Our management commitee is there to ensure that the club is run properly and to support the Club Manager and Admin staff in club operations. We rely on support form the community to run. If you would like to help, please get in touch.
